GE Selects REM as Approved Supplier for Flight Safety Gears

BRENHAM, Texas November 14, 2007- General Electric Aviation Division has approved REM as a supplier of Isotropic Superfinish (ISF®) for flight safety gears. REM will be applying the ISF Process to critical flight safety gears destined for use in engines operating under extreme conditions. This has all been made possible due to REM’s expanded Job Shop Services Group.
According to Lane Winkelmann, REM Products Manager, “This is one more example of an industry leading engine manufacturer recognizing REM’s commitment to provide top quality products and support to the aerospace gearing industry through its Services Facilities.”
REM, the inventor of the patented ISF Process, is a global supplier of surface engineering products and services.
