REM Surface Engineering Expands US Operations

REM Surface Engineering has recently completed an expansion project to our Southington, CT location. This expansion has added more than 25,000 square feet to our existing facility, increasing our Warehousing, Manufacturing, and ISF® Services capabilities. The largest increase in capacity can be seen in our ISF Services department, which customers have been utilizing increasingly more.
“Companies have recognized our expertise and are enjoying the convenience of outsourcing their ISF requirements on all types of metal components to REM facilities. Our customers know that we offer the highest standards of quality and reliability, and as a result, more and more companies are taking advantage of the specialized capabilities that we offer,” states Lane Winkelmann, Director of Services.
REM’s continued success has both enabled and driven this expansion; our newly increased capacities will allow us to continue meeting our many customers’ needs while at the same time facilitating the continually increasing demand of our marketplace. According to Justin Michaud REM’s Director of Operations, “At a time when so many companies are contracting, the fact that REM is expanding is a testament to its strength and quality as a company.”
