REM Product Manager and Sales Engineer, Bill Nebiolo received an NASF Award of Merit, his second, at last month’s Sur/Fin Conference. SUR/FIN’d tradition of acknowledging leaders took place at the Conference’s opening reception. Industry leaders gathered to celebrate and honor a handful of industry advocates for their hard work and dedication, among them Bill Nebiolo. Mr. Nebiolo was both surprised and honored to be recognized once again for his contributions to NASF.
NASF’s mission is to “advance an environmentally and economically sustainable future for the finishing industry and promote the vital role of surface technology in the global manufacturing value chain.
Bill Nebiolo joined NASF in 1978 and has been active ever since. With over 35 years of service, Mr. Nebiolo is currently Secretary of the Connecticut Chapter of NASF and has served in that role since September 1991. Bill has been recognized for his contributions to the mechanical finishing industry which now include:
- 20 paper presentations at assorted conference, technical seminars, and symposia from 1995 – 2014
- 6 papers published in assorted technical journal
- Instructor at eleven Mass Finishing Training Courses for SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) from 1993 – 2001.
