Brenham, Texas, [May 9, 2017] – REM Surface Engineering’s ISF Processes are a proven technology for repairing damaged gears and other components. However, one of the challenges to repair is helping customers determine which types of damage REM can repair.  We do not want our customers to invest the time and money of sending parts to REM if they are not applicable, so we created a gear repair manual to offer guidelines as to what types of damage and components can be refurbished by REM.

REM Surface Engineering has years of experience with component repair-we have been refurbishing large gears in the wind industry since 2008.  REM’s refurbishment program is often more cost-effective than other repair techniques while simultaneously improving flank surface quality.  Used components refurbished with our ISF Process outperform new, traditionally machined parts.  Please contact us for more info about your repair needs.
