REM Surface Engineering presented and participated in the ABMA Quarterly Meeting, hosted by Sentient Science, Inc., in Buffalo, NY, on October 3rd. The theme of the meeting was, “Using Computational Testing to Improve Bearing Life and System Performance.”

Lane Winkelmann, REM’s Director of Research and Development, gave a presentation entitled, “How Superfinishing Can Reduce Bearing Wear and Failures.” The presentation focused mainly on the Aerospace Industry and included data from past REM projects.

REM is proud to have been invited to present at the meeting and to share some of its data and experiences in the Bearing Market with others. REM has been doing business with bearing companies for over two decades and is always looking to assist in solving new challenges that arise and optimizing existing designs via the use of its ISF® Process.
