Brenham, Texas – REM Surface Engineering answers strong demand with expansion into continental Europe for its surface finishing technology with the opening of its fifth facility, REM Surface Engineering GmbH, located at Saalestr. 16, D-47800 Krefeld, Germany. As a leading provider of surface finishing via its ISF® Technologies, REM is positioned to meet the needs of the growing advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing industries across Europe, including the burgeoning commercial space/rocket propulsion industry as well as cutting-edge manufacturing in the aerospace, automotive and energy sectors. The new REM Surface Engineering GmbH facility will join existing locations in Southington, CT; Brenham, TX; and Merrillville, IN in the US; as well as St. Neots, UK which provide products and services globally. This new site is REM’s first physical expansion since the opening of the Merrillville, Indiana location in 2018, and represents REM’s commitment to consistent and sustainable growth. “Expanding into continental Europe, a market that we have long supported from the US and UK is a clear next step for REM as we continue to provide our customers with the highest quality surface finishing solutions.
