FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brenham, Texas – REM Surface Engineering was proud to participate and present at Rapid + TCT 2021 Annual Conference on September 24, 2021, in Chicago. The Rapid + TCT Show is North America’s largest 3D manufacturing event where the newest examples of REM’s 3D Process capabilities and take a look at the Additive Manufactured components REM has processed with our Extreme ISF® and ISF Processes. REM Presented “Surface Finishing for Additive Manufactured Nickel-based Superalloys Liquid Rocket Channel Nozzle” during the Post Processing session at Rapid + TCT followed by a 5 minute Q&A by REM Surface Engineering’s Senior Research Chemist, Agustin Diaz, Ph.D.

“I was delighted to be back in a face-to-face event presenting the data we collected during the last two years,” says Agustin Diaz, Senior Research Chemist. “Thanks to the support from NASA and AFWERX, through their SBIRs programs, we were able to perform a series of experiments that showed a fantastic correlation between surface finishing and fatigue performance. In addition, it was awesome to be able to meet with my peers after almost a 2-years hiatus. I had many meaningful conversations, and significant future projects were planned during this year’s conference. Hence, as always, it was an amazing experience, and already looking forward to meeting up again next year!”
