FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brenham, Texas, (July 14, 2020) – Ramp System™ H+ Series from REM Surface Engineering’s Extreme ISF® Technologies earns CE mark approval. This represents the starting point of REM’s AM product release roadmap. REM’s goal is to continue to transition our outsourced processing solutions into products for customer installation, a critical milestone to allow customer total control and oversight of the part from design through to finish.

“Achieving CE certification for the Ramp System H+ Series is a significant achievement for everyone in REM’s Research and Development group who developed, constructed and ensured compatibility with the requisite legislation,” says Manager EU Sales Martin McCormick. “This system has been produced to meet the needs of components manufactured from stainless steel grades like 17-4 PH, 304 SS, 316 SS created via material extrusion or binder jetting. The system allows the production of mirror finishes in a faster time than traditional mass finishing approaches and with less detriment to geometric control. As the market matures in Europe this system should become a staple for anyone who is looking to make a stepwise improvement in the surface condition.”

REM Surface Engineering has built a long and successful history tailoring superfinishing solutions for conventionally machined components, REM is uniquely placed to create flexible and optimized solutions for a wide range of AM requirements.
