The American Gear Manufacturing Association (AGMA) is celebrating its 100th anniversary and REM Surface Engineering is joining the festivities by becoming a Centennial Sponsor. REM Vice President, Justin Michaud, shares, “REM is proud to be an AGMA Centennial Sponsor. The AGMA has been an invaluable resource to the gear manufacturing industry throughout its hundred years.” Mr. Michaud continues adding, “As gear technology continues to evolve to meet the ever-increasing demands of the marketplace, it is important to have organizations like the AGMA who support new and advancing technologies. REM looks forward to continuing to tackle these challenges with the AGMA and its members.”
The AGMA was founded in 1916 by nine companies who wanted to create gearing standards. Today, the AGMA has more than 470 members and has expanded its mission to those with interest in the design, manufacture, and application of gears, couplings, and related power transmission components and equipment.
